A year ago I had severe arthritis in my right hip and was limping badly. The muscles around my hip were tighter than a tight rubber band. I had shooting groin pain when I climbed stairs. I went to my orthopedist, who ordered an MRI.  The results were not good.  He suggested that I under go hip replacement surgery.  At age 57, I thought it was too early for such a procedure.  I countered and told him that I would try therapy first.  Fortunately at this precise period, I met Tiffany.  Tiffany worked on trying to release and strengthen the muscles around my hip joint using massage: myofascial, ART, trigger point release and light weight training.  The results were not only amazing, but also so liberating.  The limp, although not completely gone, is far less pronounced than it was, I no longer have groin pain when climbing stairs, and I am able to walk and move a lot more fluidly than before.  I can even jog again, an activity which I had to stop doing due to pain.   Tiffany has improved my quality of life tremendously.  She has also helped me improve my fitness level.  She is totally devoted to her job and she puts that devotion wholeheartedly into improving the health and well being of her clients.  Her total focus is on making a positive difference. - Monica W.

As a native Marylander and former University of Illinois Division I track and field athlete, she have been an active member of the fitness industry for 10 years. In addition to working with Division I, post-collegiate and professional athletes as well as the general public, I spent more than a year traveling around the world training professional tennis player Daniela Hantuchova.

Features Of The Month

The first time I met Tiffany, it was in geometry class in high school. She made me so mad because she asked the teacher to go over a problem again but the bell was about the ring. When the class began to mutter, she simply replied “We all need to get good grades so we need to go over it again”. I had never met a kid so determined and concerned about the betterment of others. She is still like this today and we have been best friends ever since. After having two children, I have had moments where I felt very insecure about my body. Tiffany has always been honest but caring towards me and pushes me to reach my fitness goals—not as a friend, but as an awesome trainer. I am beyond lucky that she is my trainer—except when it’s time to do planks….then I am reminded of geometry class all over again….

​​Holistic Training
Personal training, nutritional coaching and massage therapy all wrapped up in one. Based on a client’s individual needs, Yna Ffit develops a program to support healthy body changes as a whole for maximum results.

ART Training
45-minute training session coupled with 30 minutes of Active Release Technique massage therapy. This session maximizes a client’s time, releasing body imbalances resulting from injury or overuse without setting aside additional time to train the muscles that have become weak or dysfunctional. 

PNM Training

Monthly programming, nutritional coaching and massage therapy designed for clients who know how to train but need a structured program to guide their efforts. This program features less one-on-training with the benefit of nutritional coaching and monthly massages, depending on desired package level.

Yna Ffit provides in-home personal training with programs designed to suit your specific fitness needs. Before selecting a program, each client receives an initial assessment to determine which approach will lead to maximum results. Personal training packages can include nutritional coaching as well as performance, rehabilitation and therapeutic massage.

       Individualized fitness program for clients who need help with training and have already incorporated proper nutrition into their lifestyle.          ​

Individualized program focused on rehabilitation for clients who need help recovering from injury or surgery after release by a medical professional. Utilizes Active Release Technique massage therapy and strength training to promote pain-free functional movement patterns.

       Individualized program focused on both nutrition and physical training. Helps clients reach health and wellness goals by approaching them from two different angles, doubling the potential for effective results.

Semi-Private Personal Training

With semi-private training, a client can train with a spouse, partner or friend in a program specifically designed to meet each individual’s personal goals. Training with one or two other clients fosters an atmosphere of mutual motivation without sacrificing peace of mind that each client is receiving the attention and customized guidance necessary to achieve a safe and effective training session.

Small Group Personal Training

Small group training consists of 4-6 people, allowing clients to work out with friends and family in a training program designed to meet group-based fitness goals. This might include a group training for a race, summer beach body or general fitness—a fun option for clients looking to pursue their health and wellness goals with the support of a community they trust.
